In Belize, Churches are allowed to operate private and non-profit schools. This is a wonderful opportunity for the hosting Church to have a spiritual influence with the children they teach and also evangelize the community. However, Belize is a very poor country and these schools are in need of minor repair and a helping hand.
(1) Evangelism - We need preachers and Bible teachers
(A) Anything we can do to help the Corozal Church of Christ in their evangelistic efforts, we will do.
(2) Minor Construction - We need carpenters, masons, plumbers, painters, electricians...
(A) Work on a building addition (the work depends on the skills of those willing to come)
(3) Teacher's Workshop - We need teachers or retired teachers
(A) Provide educational assistance to the school's teachers
(4) Fine Arts/Sports Camp - We need people willing to teach
(A) Art, Music, Softball, Volleyball... basic education in these
Will you join us on this evangelistic-service mission? If you are skilled in any of these specific areas, then we could certainly use your help. Even if you do not think you could help in these specific areas, contacts us and tell us what you can do or what you would like to do. Any and every skill can and will be employed while in Belize, everyone is useful. Why won't you join us?
